How to download after purchase

This explanation is written with the assumption that you have the knowledge to unzip (extract the contents of) a zip file with either Winzip (shareware) or Zip Central (freeware) utilities. You must know how to unzip a file or else you will not be able to access the cliparts you purchase (unless you purchase the CD package deal of $90, $159 or $199 which does not require zipping utilities).

After you have made your purchase for any clipart collection, you would get an email receipt from the payment processor you used ie:

  • Kagi (the company that sells and operates the download system on my behalf) sends you an email with the subject heading "Thanks For Your Purchase"

  • Paypal sends you an email receipt with the subject heading "Cute Colors Receipt of Payment" and separate email(s) containing the download link for each product purchased with the subject heading "CuteColors (item#) Download Link"
Please look carefully at the bottom of the email itself, for the download links.

The automated download system only allows 2 clicks per link (through Kagi) and 2 clicks per link (through Paypal) - whether or not you actually download the file, one click is considered one attempt; so that if you are unable to download the file successfully at the first click, you still get one or two more clicks to try.

All links automatically expire after 2 days (through Kagi) and 2 days (through Paypal) from date of purchase. So please be sure to download the files no later than 2 days (through Kagi) or 2 days (through Paypal) after you received the email receipt.

What if you forgot or did not get the chance to check your emails after you made your purchase and the links expired? Please do not worry, send me an email, I will ensure that new download links be emailed to you.

Before clicking onto each download link, it is recommended that you first know and decide where to save the file to. You need to be familiar of how your computer system is set up to handle internet download (computer system set up varies from user to user).

Where applicable, please follow the steps below and observe the instructions in the yellow box on the images.

The illustrations below applies only to a typical standard computer set up. Please note that some users computer systems are set up to bypass the "save" and other options.

Step1
Once you click onto the download link in your email,
the window below should pop up

Step 2
After you have clicked "Save" as shown in the image above,
another window will pop up as below to enable you to choose
your desired folder and directory to save the file to

Step 3
Please follow the instructions in the yellow box

Step 4
You will see the download process taking place

Step 5
Once the download is completed, it will show "Download Complete".
You can now either pick the "Open Folder" to go direct to the folder where
you have saved the zip file to or you can choose "Close" and retrieve the zip file
from your folder via Windows Explorer.
Don't forget to unzip the zip file first before you could view the images.
Once the zip file is unzipped, be sure to look for a htm file named "view.htm".
Click on it to display on your browser all at one go, the images contained in that zip file.
